This Privacy Policy explains what information Celestial ("we", "us") collects when you use our Minecraft servers, Discord, and this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Celestial is not affiliated with Mojang AB or Microsoft.

Information we collect

• Account identifiers — your Minecraft username (IGN) and account UUID, and, if you link Discord to log in to this website, your Discord account ID, username and avatar.
• Gameplay & profile data — data tied to your account such as stats, playtime, island/leaderboard data, ranks, and first/last-seen timestamps.
• Content you submit — forum posts, replies, applications, appeals, reports, and support-ticket messages (which may contain information you choose to include).
• Technical data — information needed to operate and secure the service, such as connection timestamps and a session cookie that keeps you logged in.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the network and website, run your account and ranks, provide support, enforce our rules, prevent cheating and abuse, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal data.

Legal basis (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the community and keeping it safe, our need to provide the service you request, and — where relevant — your consent (which you can withdraw).

Sharing

We share data only with the providers needed to run the service, for example Discord (when you log in with it) and our hosting/database providers, and with Mojang/Microsoft services used to verify Minecraft accounts. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active and as needed to run the community and enforce our rules. You can ask us to delete your data (see below); some records may be retained where we have a legal obligation or a legitimate need (for example, ban records to prevent evasion).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us through our Discord or open a support ticket. We may need to verify your identity (for example, by confirming control of the Minecraft or Discord account) before acting on a request.

Cookies

This website uses a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Children

The service is intended for users who meet the minimum age required by Discord and Mojang in their region. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
